Sands, Adkins receive Realtor awards

The Whatcom County Association of Realtors recently presented its fourth-quarter awards to Jim Sands of RE/MAX Whatcom County and Loren Adkins of Whidbey Island Bank.

Sands was named WCAR’s Realtor of the Fourth Quarter. Sands, a Whatcom County native, specializes in resident and commercial sales at RE/MAX’s Bellingham office. Sands has 25 years of experience in owning and managing businesses, is a certified negotiating expert and a member of the Commercial Broker Association.

The WCAR selected Adkins as its Affiliate of the Fourth Quarter. Adkins, a real estate loan officer for Whidbey Island Bank, has 27 years of sales and management experience, including the last 21 years in Whatcom County.
