DESCRIPTION:There are many opportunities to get involved with Washington REALTORS®. Members who get involved in leadership and committee work are integral to our association and many walk away with long lasting friendships, referrals from networking, leadership skills and more…\nMembers and affiliates can apply for committees, work groups and task forces. Depending on the committee, time commitments usually involve a few Zoom conference call meetings throughout the year and sometimes require attendance at the Fall (September) and Spring (April) Conferences and Legislative Day (January).\nAPPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!\n\nList of WR committees\nAPPLY HERE! ( https://www.warealtor.org/apply )\nThe deadline for 2027 Committee Applications will be October 19, 2026\n\nWHAT TO EXPECT:\n\nAfter applications are submitted, staff and leadership will follow the Committee Selection process, sending announcement letters to applicants with their committee assignments on November 30, 2026. Members will have the option to decline assignments at that time.\n\nApplication does not guarantee placement although staff and leadership try to make accommodations for everyone. Members may only serve on one CORE committee per term but can serve on multiple work groups and task forces in addition to the CORE committee.\n\nFor questions on the committee application process, email liz.garcia@warealtor.org or call\n(360) 943-3100.\n
