Community Meeting

Join us for an important community conversation on the Land Back
movement and its potential impact on Whatcom County’s future planning
and property rights. Led by Perry Eskridge of the Whatcom County
Association or REALTORS® in partnership with the Whatcom County Farm
Bureau, this meeting will provide key insights and open discussion on this
evolving topic

The Land Back movement is a campaign focused on restoring Indigenous
sovereignty by returning stewardship and decision-making over ancestral
lands to Native communities. This could include lands that are in
conservation easements, community parks, and agricultural lands.
