Payment Plan

It is that time of year when the Whatcom County Association of REALTORS® begins collecting dues for the 2023 membership year.  This is for REALTOR® members only; Affiliates are invoiced for dues on March 1, 2023.

WCAR collects dues for all three REALTOR® memberships: WCAR dues, Washington REALTOR® dues, and dues for the National Association of REALTORS®.

The total dues amount for 2023 – all three levels of membership – is $733.

Many of our members have requested that WCAR allow members to make payments on the dues amounts, and we are offering the following suggested schedule:

  • September 24 through October 14 – WCAR dues in the amount of $269 ($244 if you do not want to make the suggested $25 RPAC investment);
  • October 14 through November 11 – Washington REALTOR® dues in the amount of $294; and
  • November 11 through December 1 – National Association of REALTOR® dues in the amount of $195 ($150 membership and $45 Image Campaign).

The schedule is only suggested – You can make all payments, a couple, or just one!  The balance will be on the December 1 invoice.
There is no sign-up, there is no fee or other charges, there is no interest charged.

Important Dates:

  • Dues invoices will be E-MAILED on or about December 1, 2022 – there will be no paper copies this year!  Those who make payments, in any amount, will see those payments credited on their invoice.
  • Membership Dues are due by close of business January 2, 2023.
  • Late fees will accrue at 12:00a.m. on February 1, 2023, and March 1,2023 in the amount of $50 for each month.
  • On March 31, 2023, any member who has not paid dues will have their REALTOR® membership cancelled.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING THE PAYMENT EVERY MONTH, THERE IS NO AUTO PAYMENT.

If you miss a payment, you may call the office or you will be invoiced for the balance of your dues on or about December 1st 2022.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ONCE YOUR PAYMENT HAS BEEN PROCESSED!
The Association incurs costs in providing this plan and is unable to recoup those costs if refunds are requested.
THERE WILL BE A $30 FEE IMPOSED FOR RETURNED CHECKS OR DECLINED CREDIT CARDS.
