Roy Lentz is a Lifetime resident of Whatcom County, who served in the Navy from 1973 – 1976. Roy graduated from Western Washington University in 1983 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and he became a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in 1986.
Roy opened the accounting firm of Lentz & Associates in 1986. He specializes in income tax preparation for non-residents and also US citizens living outside the US for the last 30 years.
Roy has conducted many seminars for real estate offices and title companies, explaining the details of the FIRPTA income tax regulations.

During this Lunch & Learn, you will learn about the detailed explanation of the FIRPTA income tax rules, passed by the US Congress in 1980 and how the income tax rules affect sales of property by a Non-Resident of the US. Included will also be a discussion of capital gains as they relate to income tax in the US.
