WCAR’s Membership Meeting this month is all about property valuation, assessments and the appeals process with the Whatcom County Tax Assessors Office.

Rebecca Xczar

Rebecca Xczar has been the Whatcom County Assessor since 2020. She is a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and has been appraising property in Whatcom County for over 21 years. Rebecca previously served on the Ferndale City Council, as well as their Planning Commission, Parks Board, and is the current Chair of the Ferndale Arts Commission, totaling over 15 years of public service. Rebecca was the President of the WA Association of County Assessors in 2023.
